Privacy Policy

• Contact and lead information — name, business name, email, phone number, and the details you share in our contact form, booking form or consultation call.
• Account information — email address, hashed password, plan and add-ons purchased, portal activity, and files or assets you upload (logos, photos, business information).
• Billing information — billing name and email, invoice and subscription history, and payment status. Full card numbers are collected and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor, never by AWD; we receive only limited identifiers such as card brand, last four digits and expiry.
• Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL and similar analytics data collected automatically.
• Communications — emails, support messages, appointment records and call notes.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• To provide, operate, maintain and improve the services you purchased;
• To create and secure your client account and portal;
• To process payments, subscriptions, invoices and receipts;
• To schedule and confirm consultations and send appointment reminders;
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• To send service, billing and security notices (these are not optional while you hold an account);
• To send marketing communications where you have consented, in compliance with CASL;
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, and to meet legal obligations.

We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate business interests as permitted by Canadian law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us deliver the services, under contracts requiring them to protect it and use it only for our purposes. These include payment processing, cloud hosting and database services, transactional email delivery, domain and DNS providers, analytics and scheduling tools.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or lawful government request, to enforce our Service Agreement, to protect our rights, property or safety, or as part of a merger, financing or sale of assets (with continued protection of your information).

Your information may be stored and processed in Canada, the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. While outside Canada, information is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. We use providers that maintain a comparable level of protection through contractual and technical safeguards.

We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest with our infrastructure providers, row-level access controls on our database, private storage buckets for uploaded files, role restrictions for staff access, and password hashing. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — generally for the life of your account and for seven (7) years after your final invoice for financial records. Uploaded project files and portal data may be deleted thirty (30) days after account termination. Lead and enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four (24) months from last contact.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure checkout, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the client portal and checkout may not function without necessary cookies. We honour browser “Do Not Track” signals where technically feasible.

Marketing emails are sent only with your express or implied consent under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. Every marketing message identifies us and includes a one-click unsubscribe. Transactional messages — receipts, invoices, appointment confirmations, service and security notices — are sent as part of the services and continue while your account is active.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, or request a copy of your data. Write to support@aestheticwebsitedesigns.com. We respond within thirty (30) days and may ask you to verify your identity. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy commissioner.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the most recent revision, and material changes will be communicated by email to active clients.
